Faith For Skeptics, Back in Print

Back at Last!

Out of print for years and almost impossible to find, Faith For Skeptics is now available in paperback and in digital format. But what's it all about?

Faith For Skeptics is written for believers and unbelievers alike; for all who would like to find or increase their faith. It presents a compelling case for traditional, classical, Christianity that is all the more powerful for being nuanced and reflective. In doing so, John Heidt explores central dilemmas of the human condition, notably the problem of evil and death, and shows that orthodox, apostolic Christianity holds the key to our fulfillment and redemptive transformation as persons before God. If you believe in God this book will deepen and increase your faith, if you do not, Faith For Skeptics will introduce you to it.

Rowan Williams thought it an excellent book, proving to the world that he wasn't all bad.

John H. Heidt Books, Out at Last!

Thanks, Forward in Christ, for running the ad
Its taken awhile but Fr. John Heidt's books are gradually becoming available in paperback and digital format. So far, Faith For Skeptics, Life After Death and The King of Terrors & Other Essays have been released and several more titles are set to follow, including:

The Theology of Henry Scott Holland examines the life and theology of one of the pivotal figures in the Second Oxford Movement.

With an abstract by Austin Farrer, Priesthood examines the nature of priesthood as sacrament.

The novel A Sonnet for Satan is an Anglican Apocalypse.

Many thanks to all who have been so supportive in this ongoing project, especially our small but dedicated team of proof readers and Middle Eastern technical advisers, without whom online publishing would remain an impenetrable thicket.

Thanks too, to Bishop Keith Ackerman, his wife Jo and the Parish Press, for turning on a dime and producing The King of Terrors & Other Essays in paperback.

God bless,
